The LSU Tigers already look to have a terrific 2017 recruiting class and it just got a little bit stronger on Tuesday. Three-star defensive end Aaron Moffitt committed to the Tigers.
Moffitt is the son of Tommy Moffitt, LSU’s strength coach, and he talked about his decision being pretty easy to make when he joined Gridiron Now’s Matt Moscona on his radio show.
“I thought about it really hard,” Moffitt told the radio show. “I was like, ‘Man, there’s nowhere else I want to go.’ ”
Moffitt is a Baton Rouge native and the 37th-ranked player in the state of Louisiana. He said that it is like a dream come true to get the opportunity to play at the next level.
“(Playing at LSU) has always been a dream of mine, so it’s crazy that it’s finally a reality,” he said.
Aaron Moffitt is the second player from Baton Rouge Catholic player to commit to the Tigers for 2017, joining running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
