Oklahoma Sooners fans are waking up to some bad news on Wednesday, with reports that wide receiver Dede Westbrook was arrested earlier this week on a criminal trespass charge.

There are very few details regarding the arrest, but HeartlandCollegeSports.com passed along a post from Westbrook’s Facebook page that indicates perhaps the trespassing occurred when he was looking for a place to fish. Of course, that is a full assumption at this point.
It will be interesting to see how the Sooners handle the situation as more information becomes available.
Last season, Westbrook caught 46 passes for 743 yards and four touchdowns.
The Sooners open their 2016 campaign on Sept. 3 against the Houston Cougars at NRG Stadium. The Cougars are a legitimate top 25 team, so Oklahoma needs to hope they have the services of Dede Westbrook when they take the field.
