Steven Adams suffers testicular contusion from Draymond Green kick

During Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Steven Adams was kicked in the groin by Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

Green, much to the chagrin of many fans, was not suspended for last night’s Game 4 and fined $25,000.

Adams was able to play in the game Tuesday night, but did so, understandably, with a little extra protection. It was reported that he suffered a testicular contusion and wore a cup during the game.

There is really no other way to describe this situation and than to say “ouch.”

Getting hit in that area is never a fun experience for any male.

You have to appreciate the toughness of Steven Adams for continuing to play in the game and playing in the second game. Let’s see how he is able to perform in the possibly-deciding Game 5 on Thursday.
