Peyton Manning won’t sue Al Jazeera over HGH allegations

Peyton Manning may be enjoying the retired life at this point, but he does not seem able to stay out of the spotlight. He recently announced that he had decided not to sue Al Jazeera over their allegations of HGH against him late in 2015.

Manning reportedly has been speaking with many of his lawyers and they advised that it would be smart not to pursue legal action. They said that this is due to a lack of time and money and the possibility of private records being released to the public.

Al Jazeera’s original report in December said that a delivery of human growth hormones was sent to Manning’s house in the name of his wife, Ashley. The two-time Super Bowl champion claimed that the package was for her and was prescribed medicines.

Not long after the first report was released, Peyton Manning returned to the Denver Broncos to help lead them to a win in Super Bowl 50. He had previously missed six games due to an injury unrelated to the reports.

One reason why Manning might not be seeking a lawsuit is one that many believed from the beginning. Maybe he is actually guilty in the situation so it is best to keep out of it as much as possible.
