Video: Brett Favre throws a mean fastball

|

Brett Favre is easily the most famous name to come out of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was back in town on Thursday to throw out the first pitch ahead of the Conference USA baseball tournament game between the Golden Eagles and the Old Dominion Monarchs.

It should come as no surprise that Favre has a pretty good arm on him, even when throwing a baseball. However, I don’t think anyone expected him to hurl out a 71-mile per hour fastball for the ceremonial first pitch.

Let’s see that from a different angle.

It looks like Brett Favre still has some pretty strength on his arm. Of course, he was a little off target, but that is pretty much like the good ole days in the NFL.
