Prior to The Battle at Bristol between the Tenenssee Volunteers and Virginia Tech this season, country music star Kenny Chesney will be giving a performance. Chesney’s mini concert will take place the day before the matchup at Bristol Motor Speedway.
”I had a lot of dreams then, but never did I dream I would be playing at Bristol Motor Speedway,” Chesney said in a statement announcing the news. “The idea of that was too big to dream.”
Chesney is just one of a handful of artists performing at the Bristol Tailgate Party.
Others participating will be The Band Perry and Old Dominion.
It’s going to be an impressive atmosphere at Bristol before and after the game and the addition of Chesney will only help the excitement build.
