It is going to be an emotional night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday night. UFC 199 will take place, with Kevin Casey taking on Elvis Mutapcic in a middleweight matchup on the UFC Fight Pass preliminary card.
It will be especially emotional because the event takes place less than 24 hours after the passing of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who helped to shape combat sports and his impact is felt to this day. But for Casey, the moment will be even more personal.
Kevin Casey is the proud husband of Hana Ali, Muhammad Ali’s daughter. He is the son-in-law of “The Greatest,” so you can guarantee emotions will be running strong.
Muhammad Ali changed combat sports for the better and we all know his presence will be felt in the arena. It’s only appropriate that someone with such personal ties to the legend gets to put his skills on display.
