Marshawn Lynch watches Stanley Cup Finals in ‘Beast Mode’ Sharks jersey

The San Jose Sharks fought their way to a 3-2 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals to cut their opponents’ series lead to 2-1. They were cheered on by former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.

Not only was Lynch, an Oakland native, in town for the game, he donned a No. 24 Sharks jersey with his nickname “Beast Mode” on the back. He welcomed the team back on the ice after the second intermission.

The Sharks had to use a bit of Beast Mode’s luck to tie the game back up in the third period and eventually go to overtime where they would take the win. The hometown hero was able to help the Sharks to the big victory.

It looks like the team could have a ton of momentum going into Game 4 on Monday. They could probably use a little more of Marshawn Lynch to tie the series up at two games apiece.
