The Baylor football program is on the brink of losing another promising talent, as Tren’Davian Dickson has reportedly asked for his release and is looking to transfer from the team.
“Yes sir, I have filed for a release,” Dickson told Taylor Hamm of 247Sports.
The three-star wide receiver was one of the top 15 players at his position and in the state of Texas during his recruitment. He had initially committed to the Longhorns, before flipping to Baylor.
Now, he is hoping his release will be granted so he can begin his collegiate football career elsewhere.
The 247 Sports report mentions Texas A&M as a potential landing spot if Dickson’s release is granted.
Dickson is currently waiting to hear back from Baylor on a decision. They formally have 30 days to respond to his request.
