3-star WR Lamarcus Morton commits to Oklahoma State

The Oklahoma State football program received a commitment from three-star wide receiver Lamarcus Morton on Saturday afternoon.

The Gilmer (Tex.) announced his decision on social media.

“Man… never would I have thought to made it this far,” Morton wrote. “My dream growing up as a kid was to always play college football and I’m thankful for all of my coaches at Gilmer High to have invested their time and knowledge in me. I’m also thankful for the colleges beyond that have reached out and extended scholarship offers to me, it’s a blessing!

“With that being said, I would like to further my education and football career with the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. This recruiting process has been a blessing and I can’t say how thankful I am for it. God is Good!”


Morton also head offers from Houston, Texas Tech, Indiana, Colorado State and Memphis, among others.
