Draymond Green suspended for Game 5

The Golden State Warriors can close out the NBA Finals on Monday, but they will have to do so without key contributor Draymond Green.

Green was suspended for Game 5 after he was slapped with a Flagrant 1 foul in Friday’s Game 4 for hitting Cavaliers forward LeBron James in the groin. ESPN’s Josina Anderson was the first to report the suspension per NBA Public Relations.

Draymond Green has played a big role with the Warriors throughout the Finals, averaging 14.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists through four games.

The Warriors take the court at The Oracle Arena on Monday, June 13 at 9 p.m. EST.
