The Texas Tech basketball program has added one of the most talented players from the 2014 recruiting class, as former top 50 recruit Brandon Francis-Ramirez announced he will be taking his talents to Lubbock after spending the last two years with the Florida Gators.
On Tuesday, Francis-Ramirez made the announcement on social media.
As a student I will be full time @texastech š and as a basketball athlete I will be playing full time for @texastechmbb š #WreckEm !!!!!

Francis-Ramirez struggled to find his shot for the Gators last season underĀ first-year coach Mike White, after missing his freshman season due to academic ineligibility.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard will be forced to sit out the upcoming season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules, before returning to the court for the 2017-18 season. Once Francis-Ramirez suits up, he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
