Pete Carroll crushes Nate Robinson’s dreams of playing in NFL

Earlier this week, it was announced that former New York Knicks point guard Nate Robinson was trying to achieve his dream of playing in the NFL. However, it looks like Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll isn’t too sure that he could make an NFL roster.

Robinson was with the Seahawks for a try out earlier this week and Carroll talked about the possibility of him making a roster. He said it is going to be difficult for him to do mostly because of his age.

I think it’s all but impossible,” Carroll told ESPN’s Sheil Kapadia. “It’s as hard as you could possibly get. He’s 32 as well. I don’t know if anybody could do it. But if anybody could, it might be Nate. He’s that versatile an athlete and that great a competitor.”

Robinson hasn’t played football since he was 19 and a freshman at Washington. This probably had a lot to do with Pete Carroll’s comments about him not making the team.
