Just a few weeks ago, 11-year-old Nihar Janga’s life changed forever when he won the Scripps National Spelling Bee and got a huge scholarship for his collegiate future. On Wednesday, his life changed once again when he got to meet the Dallas Cowboys and idol, wide receiver Dez Bryant.
He has been touring the country, making appearances with CNN, Live with Kelly and Good Morning America and it continued when he made a trip to the Dallas Cowboys headquarters. He became connected with Bryant after he threw up the receiver’s famed “X” after being named co-champion at the event in May.
#NiharJanga you just made my whole day buddy.. Congrats on winning the #spellingbee champ.. Some how some way I have to get you to a game #x

He got to throw up the “X” at a press conference on Wednesday when he met head coach Jason Garrett and then later Bryant. It certainly looks like Nihar Janga will get to attend a Cowboys game later this year.

What a great meeting and a cool time for the young Cowboys fan.
