There is no doubt actor Bill Murray is a huge sports fan. Whether he is cheering on the Xavier Musketeers in the NCAA Tournament, playing golf with a mischievous gopher or suiting up with Michael Jordan to take on aliens in basketball, he has always found himself involved with sports in some way.
But what you probably didn’t know is that he holds an actual official title with the Charleston RiverDogs, Single A minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees. His title with the team? Director of Fun.
Tuesday night, the RiverDogs clinched a playoff berth and the first half South Atlantic League championship. As the Director of Fun should, Murray joined in on the champagne bath and had only one thing to say: “Tastes like victory.”

It certainly looks like Bill Murray has lived up to his title as Director of Fun. The RiverDogs had a little dance off after Murray left them to celebrate.

Now that is how you celebrate a big win. Maybe other teams need to hire a Director of Fun.
