John Calipari using Jordan Spieth to promote ‘one-and-done’ system

Jordan Spieth is one of the greatest golfers in the world today. Kentucky head coach John Calipari is one of the best coaches in college basketball and is an even better recruiter.

Calipari has always been known for using his “one-and-done” system where he brings in players to play for one season and then jet off to the NBA. He was in Oakmont to watch Spieth play in the US Open on Thursday and called him a “one-and-done golfer,” referring to the fact that he spent just one year at Texas before turning pro.

John Calipari has mastered the art of the “one-and-done” system and it helped him win a national title in 2012. They currently have the second-rated class for the 2016-17 season and I would expect there to be at least a few players looking to get to the NBA in 2017.
