Ex-Oklahoma State WR Brandon Sheperd charged with sexual battery

Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Brandon Sheperd had a pretty good career with the Cowboys, but it hasn’t produced much since he graduated earlier this year. Now, it looks like he will have a tough time finding a job after he was arrested on sexual battery charges earlier this week.

According to the Tulsa World, Sheperd was accused of sexually assaulting a sleeping woman back in late March. He was arrested and appeared in court on Monday before posting $15,000 bond on Tuesday.

The woman could not identify the man at the time of her attack, but he dropped a wallet and the ID belonged to the former Cowboy receiver. The wallet was also emblazoned with the Oklahoma State logo.

During his four-year career at Oklahoma State, which ran from 2012-2015, Brandon Sheperd recorded 1,284 yards and 10 touchdowns. His best year came in 2014 when he caught 39 passes for 737 yards and five touchdowns.
