Annie Apple, mother of New York Giants cornerback and Ohio State alumnus Eli Apple, understandably had a mom moment dropping her son off at his first set of OTAs Thursday morning.
Recording the scene as she and her son first arrived at the Giants’ facility, Annie Apple, in a three-part series of tweets, shared the joy she had for her son, about to take off for his first team duties.

Eli Apple, taken 10th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, didn’t look too excited.
Once he starts contributing to that porous Giants secondary and reeling in his non-guaranteed contract money though, maybe we’ll see him flash those pearly whites a bit more.
