The Los Angeles Lakers knew they needed to get a special player in the 2016 NBA Draft after Kobe Bryant called it a career after 20 years with the team. They found what could be their next superstar in Duke small forward Brandon Ingram.

Ingram has been seen by many as the best player in the draft and only sat behind LSU’s Ben Simmons as he was the top projected pick for the entire 2015-16 college basketball season. Ingram has proven to be one of the most-athletic players going into the NBA this year.
During his one season with the Blue Devils, Brandon Ingram averaged 17.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. This also led to Duke having a top three player in the draft for the third straight year, the third school to do that.
If Brandon Ingram is picked in top 3, Duke would be 3rd school to have a player selected in the top 3 in 3 straight years (Kentucky, UCLA)
