The entire state of Florida has been grieving after the horrifying mass shooting at Pulse nightclub earlier this month. This week, the Orlando shooting victims received an uplifting moment when Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher and former Seminoles star Jameis Winston made the trip from Tallahassee to Orlando to pay some visits in the hospital.
Florida Governor Rick Scott shared photos of the great moment on social media.

These aren’t the first prominent Florida athletes to visit the shooting victims, as former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow also visited the victims earlier in the week.
We're so grateful for @TimTebow's support– thank you for bringing faith, hope & love to those needing a brighter day pic.twitter.com/n9AnxJoNPY

It is always great to see communities pulling together at a time of tragedy and while the impact of that tragic night will live on forever in the minds of the victims, they received at least a brief moment of positivity and hope that will help them during their recovery.
