The New York Knicks made a big splash on Thursday as they attempted to change the landscape of the Eastern Conference by acquiring longtime Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose.
New York traded three players — Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant — in exchange for Rose, but the team did not send them off with the warmest of goodbyes.
After news of the trade was announced, the Knicks released a highlight video of their new point guard burning the three departed players.
Cold. Blooded.

Let’s just hope this doesn’t come back to bite the Knicks in the butt. After all, it was just a few days ago that two former Bulls contributors, J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert, got to raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy with the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
And for those wondering what number will grace the new Bulls point guard’s jersey, the team announced Rose will be wearing No. 25.
