The Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup for the fourth time in team history and the first time since 2009 last week. Now, it looks like they will use a special playoff jersey for their entirety of the 2016 playoffs.
On Friday, the team took to Twitter and released a video showing they will wear their “Pittsburgh gold” look on a permanent basis. They wore the black-and-gold jerseys at home and will wear them along with a similar vintage look on the road as well.

The look worked pretty well for the Penguins throughout the playoffs. The team hopes to have similar luck with the uniform going into the 2016-17 season.
Pittsburgh will display their new permanent jerseys at this weekend’s NHL Draft. This way, teams can get a up close and personal look at the jerseys that will probably give them nightmares this season.
