Former Kentucky star Tyler Ulis was the third and final Wildcat selected in Thursday’s NBA Draft and it was certainly an emotional night for the superstar player.
Ulis was taken 34th overall by the Phoenix Suns and his family reacted exactly how you’d hope they would.

That is certainly an impressive way to celebrate such a momentous occasion for the young man. He will certainly make a huge impact for the Suns over the next few years.
During the 2015-16 season, Tyler Ulis averaged 17.3 points and seven assists per game for the Wildcats. He was named SEC Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Wooden and Naismith awards.
The Wildcats now have to replace a talented player like Ulis going into the 2016-17 season, but they have one of the most impressive recruiting classes in the country. That could certainly help them out going forward.
