Brock Lesnar revealed as cover athlete of ‘WWE 2K17’

WWE has seen its fair share of success with their new line video games trough Take Two Interactive. The 2K line has helped revitalize the wrestling video game world and Brock Lesnar, one of the sport’s biggest stars, will now take the cover of “WWE 2K17.”

This is the fourth installment in the 2K line for the WWE and it is going to be a big deal for the company. Lesnar also became the fifth playable character announced for the game, joining John Cena, Sasha Banks, Ultimate Warrior and pre-order bonus Goldberg, who faced off against The Beast at Wrestlemania XX.

This is the first time Brock Lesnar will be on the cover of a wrestling video game since 2002. He was the cover athlete for the popular Playstation 2 game “WWF Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain,” which took inspiration from his catchphrase at the time.

The game will be released sometime in October this year.
