LSU running back Leonard Fournette is one of the best players in the country for the 2016 season and it’s very likely that he will be a front-runner for the Heisman Trophy. He is excited for the start of the season and he showed that off by releasing a hype video on his Twitter on Tuesday.
Fornette set multiple school records last year by rushing for 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns, while leading the country in yards per game. He also set the record for most consecutive games with at least 100 yards rushing.
There is no reason why Leonard Fournette won’t be one of the top players in the country this year. He will likely be able to compete for the Heisman Trophy all year long and he will also be a big part of the Tigers’ success in the SEC this year.
Fournette and the Tigers open the 2016 season on Sept. 3 when they play the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field.
