Being a former Ohio State Buckeye and covering a number of contests in the conference, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit is more than familiar with the Big Ten.
Monday morning, Herbstreit was asked by a Twitter user who he believed the top student sections in college football were. Not surprisingly, Herbstreit went with a couple of Big Ten programs: Penn State and Wisconsin – in that order.
Herbstreit claimed that he had always felt that the Nittany Lions section was the best, but that the Badgers were not fair behind.
Have always felt Penn State has the best student section. With Wisconsin a close 2nd. https://t.co/ZNKrxHeeuB

Herbstreit’s choices are definitely not bad ones, as both schools are known for their gameday traditions and passion for their athletic programs. Penn State is the host of the famous “White-Out” game, while Wisconsin is known for their “Jump Around.”
Though we may agree with the college football analyst’s decisions, there are likely a few Buckeyes fans out there that aren’t exactly feeling the love.
