Top 2017 recruit DeAndre Ayton announces top three

The top high school basketball player in the Class of 2017 has narrowed his potential list of suitors down to three. On Thursday, five-star recruit DeAndre Ayton announced his final three schools are the Kentucky Wildcats, Arizona Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks.

Ayton discussed his new top three following at Nike’s Peach Jam tournament in Georgia this week.

Throughout the showcase, it was very clear why the 7-foot, 235-pounder is so highly-sought after.

According to those in attendant and multiple first-hand accounts throughout the Twittersphere, Ayton was throwing down and dominating on the floor. It’s no surprise that he’s the most highly-rated player in his class and considered by many to be a potential future No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
