One of the best athletes in college football has realized his Olympic dream. This weekend, Oregon Ducks wide receiver Devon Allen won the 100-meter hurdles race and punched his ticket to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
With the win, Allen qualified to become a member of Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Allen pulled away from the pack for his big win down the stretch with a winning time of 13.03 seconds.

In his most productive season on the gridiron, Allen hauled in 41 catches for 684 yards and seven touchdowns.
Unfortunately, a knee injury limited his playing time a season ago, but Allen seems to be doing just fine. Sure, he’ll have a late start joining the team, but the Oregon coaching staff does not have to worry about whether their speedy wide receiver will be in top shape.
