Green was arrested outside of a restaurant named Conrad’s Grill.
Per the reports, Green slapped a heckling fan inside of the bar before being escorted out of the establishment and handcuffed by police. Green is scheduled for arraignment on July 20.
While the Warriors and/or NBA could punish Green for his missteps off the court, the maximum punishment he can face under the law is 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.
At this point, Golden State is simply waiting to see how everything plays out.
“At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation,” the team said in a statement.
