Laremy Tunsil sends Ole Miss HC Hugh Freeze letter

While Laremy Tunsil and Hugh Freeze have not directly spoken since the former Ole Miss Rebel lineman was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2016 NFL Draft in April, they seem to have had some communication.

It looks like they are still trying to have a relationship despite the trouble the former lineman may have gotten his team in.

Freeze talked about how Tunsil recently sent him a letter and he said that it showed the love he has for his former coach. He didn’t go into details about it, but he did let everyone know not to judge him about what he did on draft night.

His sincere love for me. That’s probably all I should say,” Freeze said. “There was a sweetness to it, but I knew that’s who he was. He’s a good kid, has a good heart.”

Laremy Tunsil entered the NFL draft as a top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but his stock dropped dramatically after a video of him smoking what appeared to marijuana out of a gas mask surfaced just minutes before the start of the draft.

It got worse for him and the Rebels when text messages of him asking for money from coaches surfaced just after his name was called in the draft. It has been a roller coaster of a ride as of late, but it looks like both Tunsil and Freeze are ready to step off it very soon.
