College football is one of the most popular sports in the country and some people are pretty rabid with their love for the sport. A map was released on Tuesday that showed the most popular team in all of college football.
This map had some pretty surprising revelations as it showed that UAB, not the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide, are the most popular team in the state of Alabama.
Some other surprising things are Stanford topping USC in California, Georgia Tech topping rival Georgia and East Carolina beating out four ACC schools in North Carolina. The Blazers have not played football since the 2014 season and won’t field a team again until next fall.
However, they beat out the Crimson Tide with 54.3 percent of a Reddit fan vote.
The college football season is just over a month away and it is going to be very interesting to see what happens as we draw closer. This is going to be a fun year.
