The Houston Cougars were one of the best teams in the country during the 2015 season and there is reason to believe that they will do much of the same this year.

After going¬†13-1 to win the AAC championship¬†before¬†manhandling the Florida State Seminoles in the Peach Bowl, how can you expect Tom Herman’s team not to be good this year?

The team returns quarterback Greg Ward Jr., who, with the right performance this year, could contend for the Heisman Trophy and skyrocket up team’s draft boards next year. Their defense lost a good bit of leadership on that side of the ball, but they have a lot of athletes that should be able to make an impact for the team.
