Larry The Cable Guy supports UCF move to Big 12

The UCF Knights have an outside shot of being one of the teams added to the Big 12 when they likely expand over the next few months. It looks like they have the support of at least one name that should be familiar to people in comedian Larry The Cable Guy.

One fan took to Twitter and asked Larry his opinion on the Knights possibly being added into the conference in the near future. He seemed to give his full support of the move for the team.

ESPN’s Jake Trotter picked up the tweet and he seemed very confused about the move. Larry, however, gave some pretty good reasons why UCF would be a good fit for the Big 12.

Larry The Cable Guy makes it no secret that he is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan and one person asked him about it. He said that he is still a Husker but explained that he lived in the area for 20 years and gives them his full support.

It also doesn’t hurt that new head coach Scott Frost played at Nebraska during his college playing days.

Realignment seems to be just around the corner for the Big 12 and it looks like the Knights certainly have their supporters.
