Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs should be one of the better in the country this year and I would expect him lead the Volunteers to success this year. However, I don’t think many people would take him over a pretty legendary college quarterback.
Earlier on Thursday, the FOX Sports radio station out of Knoxville posted a question asking fans would they rather have Dobbs or former Texas quarterback Vince Young leading their team. People did not hesitate to troll the radio station.
Talking college Joshua Dobbs vs. college Vince Young.
Who would you take?https://t.co/w0UR1NDAhB

It is hard to disagree with these fans being so upset about the question since Young is one of the best quarterbacks to take the field in the last decade. Joshua Dobbs is good, but he certainly can’t compare to the former Longhorn.
During his final season with the Longhorns in 2005, Young led his team to the national championship as he threw for over 3,000 yards and 26 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,050 yards and 10 scores. Dobbs threw for just under 2,300 yards and 15 touchdowns, while rushing for 671 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He will have to lead the Volunteers to the College Football Playoff this year if he ever wants to be on the same level as Young. Tennessee opens the season on Sept. 1 against Appalachian State.
