Tennessee DT Kahlil McKenzie happy for father’s contract extension

Saturday morning, it was announced that the Oakland Raiders had given General Manager Reggie McKenzie an extension on his contract going forward.

It looks like his son, Tennessee defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie, is very happy for his dad.

Reggie McKenzie has done a great job for the Raiders, bringing players like Khalil Mack and Derek Carr and also helping the team go from having three straight seasons with double-digit losses to a 7-9 record in 2015. The Volunteer took to Twitter and showed his excitement for his father.

McKenzie joined the Volunteers as a five-star member of their 2015 recruiting class. He had a decent season for the team last year, recording 24 tackles and a sack from a backup role with the team.
