Texas A&M suspends two coaches after sexist woman’s clinic

Sometimes common sense and basic decency is harder to put into action than we’d like. Unfortunately for the Texas A&M football program, that lack of common sense has led to two Aggies coaches receiving suspensions.

Late Friday, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin announced he would be suspending offensive line coach Jim Turner and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks after inappropriate, sexually explicit slides that were used during a woman’s clinic went viral.

Sumlin made his announcement in a statement.

And yes, it was as bad as it sounds.

It is absolutely mind-boggling that a situation can be so mishandled.

If there was any type of oversight at all, there is no way such a tone deaf presentation would have taken place. Everyone in the world of college football needs to do better and be more aware.
