Kris Wilkes, a five-star small forward out of Indianapolis, Indiana, is one of the top fifteen players in the Class of 2017.
Unfortunately for some schools hoping to get a crack at the 6-foot-7 standout, Wilkes took to social media on Monday to announce he has cut his list down to 11 schools.
“I would like to thank all the wonderful schools who’ve recruited me and made scholarship offers to me,” Wilkes wrote on Twitter. “After careful consideration and talking to my family, these are the top 11 schools that I have came up with.”
The schools still in the mix for Wilkes are North Carolina, Arizona, Indiana, Michigan, Butler, Ohio State, Illinois, UCLA, Washington, UConn and Xavier.

There is still plenty of time for Wilkes to make an official decision, so it will be interesting to see where he ultimately lands.
Currently, 247 Sports projects the in-state Hoosiers and Michigan Wolverines have the best crack at landing the top fifteen talent, who is ranked as the No. 5 player at his position and No. 2 player overall in the state of Indiana.
