Fans of the Auburn Tigers will need to wait before seeing Prince Sammons return to the field.
On Wednesday, 247 Sports broke the news that the offensive tackle will be forced to miss the next four weeks of practice after undergoing surgery to remove a piece of bone from his left foot.
Sammons, a four-star recruit, was one of the late additions to Auburn’s Class of 2016.
The good news for Will Muschamp’s program and fans hoping to get a glimpse of what Sammons can bring to the table is that the surgery was not severe and he will be able to return to practice without missing any significant time.
Along with Auburn, the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy product had offers from Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan.
