Arkansas football: 5 things to watch in 2016

The Arkansas Razorbacks are entering Year 4 of the Bret Bielema era and they are certainly looking to make a big breakthrough in 2016. They certainly seem to have a ton of weapons on both sides of the ball and the season should be a fun one for the Hogs.

On the offense, they have to deal with loss of offensive line coach Sam Pittman, who was instrumental in making sure the Razorbacks had one of the top offensive lines in the country every year. Austin Allen takes over for his brother, Brandon, at quarterback and they have a host of weapons in running back Rawleigh Williams and wide receiver Drew Morgan.

The defense looks to continue their steady improvement into this season after they were in the middle of the pack in the nation last year. Defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. will be a big part of their success this year.

Can the Razorbacks get over the hump in the SEC West and make a name for themselves? Let’s take a look at five things to watch for Arkansas in the 2016 college football season.
