Muhammad Ali’s grandson commits to Cal for football

The sports world lost one of the biggest legends earlier this year when the greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali, passed away and fans everywhere knew it would be hard for a new legend to take his place. It looks like his grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, will at least try to do that, but in a completely different sport.

Walsh took to Twitter on Sunday and announced his commitment to play football for the Cal Golden Bears next year. He will join the Golden Bears as a three-star prospect out of the state of Nevada.

Walsh is currently the No. 11 all-purpose back in the country and the No. 8 player in the state of Nevada. The Bishop Gorman prospect, who was named the Gatorade Nevada Player of the Year in 2015, should be a big addition for Sonny Dykes next year.

Good luck, Biaggio. We know you will do your grandfather proud.
