Arizona State awaiting word on Romello White’s eligibility

The Arizona State Sun Devils are looking to have a much better season than last year after they went 15-17. Second-year head coach Bobby Hurley has done a good job with recruiting, but they are awaiting to hear back on top recruit Romello White’s eligibility.

White is one of the better players in the class of 2016 as he is a top 100 power forward from the state of Georgia. He flipped his commitment from Georgia Tech to the Sun Devils after the Yellow Jackets fired Brian Gregory in April.

He has not been fully cleared by the NCAA just yet after this confusing situation. It should be cleared up soon, but there is no official word on that just yet.

He is one of three top 100 commits to sign with the Sun Devils along with Sam Cunliffe and Jethro Tshisumpa. White had originally signed with the Yellow Jackets, but he was allowed to reopen his recruitment after Gregory’s firing.
