Ex-Buckeye LB Ryan Shazier appears in Michigan promo

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is very well known for putting some talented players in the NFL and he realizes that should always be a big selling point in the recruiting world. However, someone seemed to make a big mistake on the part of the Wolverines on Friday.

The Wolverines released a recruiting graphic showing off the 60 players Harbaugh has coached on their way to the NFL, including former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck and cornerback Richard Sherman. The promo also seemed to include current Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, who played for Michigan’s biggest rival Ohio State.

Eleven Warriors, a prominent website in supporting the Buckeyes, posted a zoomed in picture of the graphic and it certainly seems like Shazier has been strangely included in the promo.

You can look at this picture, the first one that pops up in a Google image search, and see that this is clearly the former Buckeye. Shazier seemed to take notice with the big mistake and was rightfully unhappy with the Wolverines.

This is just another reason for Ohio State to hate the Michigan Wolverines and it could cause the Wolverines faithful to be upset with their marketing department.
