Florida State footall: Malik Henry suspended indefinitely

The Florida State Seminoles have a few players to choose from this year at the quarterback position. True freshman Malik Henry is one of those players, but it looks like his chances got a lot worse on Saturday.

It was reported that Henry has been suspended from the team for an undisclosed amount of time. Safid Deen of the Orlando Sentinel reported that the suspension was for a violation of team rules.

Henry is currently behind Deondre Francois and Sean Maguire for the starting position this year, but he certainly has a ton of potential to make a big impact for the Seminoles. He joined the program as a four-star dual-threat quarterback in the team’s 2016 recruiting class.

It will be interesting to see how long Henry will be out and to see exactly what he did to get suspended. The Seminoles open the 2016 season on Sept. 5 against Ole Miss in Orlando.
