Stacy Coley is one of the best players on the Miami offense this year and he should be a big part of their success in 2016. But, it looks like he could be caught up in some legal trouble off the field going into the season.
He has not been made available to the media since the team began training camp earlier this month and it looks like the reason might have come out. The Miami Herald reported that Coley has been involved in a rental car agency probe that also included star defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad and linebackers Jermaine Grace and Juwon Young, who has been indefinitely suspended.
The paper reports that the investigation involves “players who might have used cars from a South Beach luxury car rental agency, in exchange for future promises.” The NCAA is not currently involved, but the Hurricanes are preparing to possibly lose their star players for at least a few games this year.
UM football has been prepared to be w/out Coley, AQM, Grace for 1-3 games BUT no determination made yet. Resolution expected soon.

Coley was second on the team in receptions (47), yards (689) and receiving touchdowns (4) last season. He is expected to be the biggest part of their offense this year after he passed up the opportunity to go to the NFL and return for his senior season this year.
