Four-star PG Trent Frazier commits to Illinois

The Illinois men’s basketball program continues to add promising young talent. Over the weekend, four-star point guard Trent Frazier became the latest addition to John Groce’s program when he announced his commitment on social media.

“After this long process me and my family and my high school coach have sat down and made the right decision,” Frazier wrote.

“You know these coaches have been recruiting me for two years now it and it really means a lot to me … These guys have shown me that I’m their guy and I love it, but my decision is that I will be committing to the University of Illinois.”

The 6-foot-1 standout from West Palm Beach, Florida also held offers from Baylor, Memphis, and many others. Frazier is currently rated as the No. 8 prospect in the state of Florida and the No. 20 player at his position.
