College basketball fans everywhere, rejoice.
The State Farm Champion’s Classic, that which brings you an annual double-header between the combination of Kansas, Duke, Michigan State and Kentucky, has been tabbed to continue its run of success through 2019.
This is according to an ESPN press release Wednesday.
This year’s slate of action will take place on Nov. 15 from Madison Square Garden in New York City, the trademark home of the New York Knicks.
Kentucky will take on Michigan State in the early game at 7.30pm, while Kansas and Duke will battle it out during the night game at 9.30 pm.
Tickets are scheduled to be released in October.
The Classic will take place in Chicago’s United Center in 2017 and Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse in 2018; every year brings about different match-ups between the four blue-blood teams.
In 2017, Kansas gets a shot at Kentucky and Michigan State plays Duke.
Duke, Kentucky and Michigan State all have 3-2 records in their Classic histories, while Kansas is behind with a record of 1-4.
