Earlier this month, the preseason All-SEC teams were released with names like Myles Garrett and Leonard Fournette topping the list. The coaches released their all-conference teams on Thursday and they didn’t differ much from the official teams.
The teams have some pretty big names that will make a huge impact in the conference this year. In addition to Fournette, quarterback Chad Kelly, wide receiver Christian Kirk and tight end OJ Howard joined the first-team offense while Garrett was joined by linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin and safety Eddie Jackson on the defense.
Texas A&M’s Kirk was the only person to make the list twice as a receiver and a return specialist. This comes after he recorded over 1,000 yards receiving and returned punts for a nation-leading 24.4 yards per return and two touchdowns.
