Paige VanZant ‘would love to do’ something with WWE

On Saturday night, UFC strawweight contender Paige VanZant delivered the knockout of the night with a remarkable switch kick knockout victory over Bec Rawlings at UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver.

VanZant’s win meant her first fight since a meteoric rise to stardom on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” was an overwhelming success.

But what is next for VanZant?

The Team Alpha Male standout appears focused on continuing her climb up the 115-pound division and she turned down all non-MMA activities after DWTS in order to focus on her fight against Rawlings.

However, that doesn’t mean she could completely shut out any outside opportunities.

Specifically, VanZant said that she would love to work with WWE and it is something she is very interested in doing.

“We heard a little bit from them. They’re someone I’d love to partner with and work with, they’re a great organization,” VanZant said, via Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard. “I’m a huge fan of WWE, and I definitely want to keep them close. Eventually, it’s still something I would love to do.”

Following Dancing With the Stars, there were reports WWE was interested in VanZant for an appearance on SummerSlam. That never happened, but perhaps we could see just that in the future.

What do you think, WWE fans? Should “12 Gauge” make the crossover to pro wrestling?
