If you didn’t have Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson on your radar for the Heisman Trophy this year, you might want to throw him on there today. He set a school single-game record for most touchdowns against the Charlotte 49ers and the first half has just ended.
Jackson currently has over 400 total yards and has accounted for all of the Cardinals’ eight touchdowns. He has thrown for six and ran for two more as his team takes a 56-0 lead into halftime.

Each of Jackson’s six passing touchdowns went different receivers, so it is good to see that he is spreading the love. I think the Cardinals have a pretty special quarterback right now.
