The Missouri Tigers may be adding a pretty good athlete to their roster very soon as Olympic wrestler J’den Cox would love to suit up for the team. He announced on Wednesday that he plans to join the football team this fall and wants to play in 2016.
Cox recently represented the United States at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and brought home a bronze medal. The 21-year-old wrestler said he wants a chance to take the field in a press conference.

This could be pretty huge for the Tigers as they seem to need some help on the defensive side of the ball. Cox was a linebacker at Hickman High School in Columbia in his younger days.
It will certainly be interesting to see if he will get the chance to join the SEC squad going into the season.
